Online Book Ordering Instructions for University Park Students

Textbooks for Fall 2013 can now be ordered online and either picked up in person at the Penn State Bookstore or shipped to your home address by UPS for a minimal charge.

Information on books required for all Law School and SIA courses is available online either from the University Registrar’s Schedule of Courses or on the Bookstore’s website. The information includes: author(s) or editor; title; ISBN; publisher; year of publication and edition; whether the title is required or recommended; and cost if new, used or rented. This information is provided so that you can purchase the texts from alternate sources if desired.

If you are expecting student loans and have included the cost of books in the amount you are borrowing, you may also charge up to $800 in textbooks at the Penn State Bookstore at University Park. ONLY required textbooks may be charged — no other items. The amount charged will be added to your Bursar account and paid directly to the school when your student loans disburse. Please note: if the loans disburse prior to the charges posting to your account, you will be responsible to make payment to the Bursar’s Office.

PLEASE NOTE that to receive books by the first day of classes on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, your order must be received by the Bookstore by Tuesday, August 13, 2013.
